Little Children

"I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you as well."  2 Timothy 1:5

"He called a little child and had him stand among them. And He said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven and whoever welcomes a little child like this in My name welcomes Me. But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea."  Matthew 18: 2-6 Pin It

There is just something special about children. Their faith is simpler and stronger.

Hi Nicole,

Children have the gift of trust; it is unspoiled by the cares of adulthood. I believe God is teaching me the value in trust, just as a child trusts; no questions asked.

Blessings and peace.

Lovely picture.....I pray more and more children will have this experience of really knowing Him and His word, very early in their lives....and I pray that as God has kept me from a small child...so He will keep others.

Thank so much for stopping by everyone and for the wonderful replies.

Sorry my reply is short, hopping on real quick before heading off to church.

Have a blessed day everyone!

What a gorgeous photo and the scriptures, well, they tell us so much.

A child is (usually) uncluttered and simple in their hearts. They haven't learnt to wear masks and pretend. They just are what they are. The believe so easily and so pure in heart. That is why Jesus said we must change and be like them. Believe. Allow our hearts to become pure and remove the masks. We can't do these things alone, but by Him, we can change into that little child.

Beautiful photo, and thank you for sharing this scripture. If we all had that child like faith, things would be so different.
Enjoy this most blessed Sunday.
