Word Filled Wednesday

For some reason this verse made me think of a quote by V. Raymond Edman

"Never doubt in the dark what God told you in the light"

My comments have been messing up so I am copying and pasting the comments that were on my intensedebate account from when I had comment luv installed. Copying them all in one comment, don't want anyone to think I just deleted them on purpose. Sorry everyone!

I found that quote in a book I am reading...
It's 'The Purpose Driven Life... What on Earth Am I Here For?' by Rick Warren. It's a pretty good book so far.

I SO needed to read this today! It's so easy to get "worked up" about all that is going on in the world today, but God is bigger!! ... and the darkness of this world "can never extinguish" His light! Thanks so much for sharing!! Have a blessed day!!

Thank you so much Derek! I have to trust Him, what else is there if you can't trust in the Lord? It's not always the easiest thing to do though but I am working on it!

I love this scripture...and my heart is very close to it right now in this season of my life. My son, sits in a very dark place from a one night choice that changed his life forever. But the darkness has not extinguished his love for Jesus and he continues to shine in a very dark place. Love it!

Amanda
He is the Light of all men! I love this verse and the photo is so fitting Nicole! Well done and amen!

Darkness flees in the presence of light! I love this whole theme of light.

Bless you sis, and happy WFW!

Thanks Karen!!

I do my best to see that light when I am going through my dark times. It is a lot easier to see than it used to be though so I think that is a good thing! =)

Love ya!
