Jesus Calling~ Feb 22

You need me every moment. Your awareness of your constant need for Me is your greatest strength. Your neediness, properly handled, is a link to My Presence. However, there are pitfalls that you must be on guard against: self-pity, self-preoccupation, giving up. your inadequacy presents you with a continual choice—deep dependence on Me, or despair. The emptiness you feel within will be filled either with problems or with My Presence. make Me central in your consciousness by praying continually; simple, short prayers flowing out of the present moment. Use My Name liberally, to remind you of My Presence. Keep on asking and you will receive, so that your gladness may be full and complete.

pray continually ~1 Thessalonians 5:17

Up to this time you have not asked a [single] thing in My Name [as presenting all that I AM]; but now ask and keep on asking and you will receive, so that your joy (gladness, delight) may be full and complete. ~John 16:24 (AMP)

Needing God and Jesus!  Oh man, do I ever!!  I need them every single minute of the day!!  Constantly having a conversation with Them and doing my best to rejoice in everything that They take me through.  Praying continually!!  That has to be one of the shortest verses.. but one of the most powerful ones!!

Pray continually!  In His Name!  How wonderful that He shows and tells us what to do and how to pray!!  He is an awesome Daddy like that!!  Smile

I pray that you all pray continually, persistently, in ALL things and also that you give thanks as well!!!!

Jesus callingSo.. a friend of mine was/is doing a daily devotional called Jesus Calling by Sarah Young. I decided to head on over iTunes and see what they had since I had a gift card for iTunes. They had it so I got it. I really like it. The one I got is more like an app than the audible book but I still like it.

  1. Thank you once again Nicole...this is exactly what I needed today! I've been sick for a couple of weeks now, and I find myself getting caught up in the self-pity pitfall. What a great reminder that I have a choice...I can either fill my emptiness with my problems or His presence!

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. - Ephesians 4:29

Have a blessed day! =)
