Trust Me, and don’t be afraid. Many things feel out of control. Your routines are not running smoothly. You tend to feel more secure when your life is predictable. Let Me lead you to the rock that is higher than you and your circumstances. Take refuge in the shelter of My wings, where you are absolutely secure.
When you are shaken out of your comfortable routines, grip My hand tightly and look for growth opportunities. Instead of bemoaning the loss of your comfort, accept the challenge of something new. I lead you on from glory to glory, making you fit for My kingdom. Say yes to the ways I work in your life. Trust Me, and don’t be afraid.
2Look! God is my Savior.
I am confident and unafraid,
because the Lord is my strength and my song.
He is my Savior.” ~Isaiah 12:2 (GW Gods Word Translation)
2From the ends of the earth, I call to you
when I begin to lose heart.
Lead me to the rock that is high above me.
3You have been my refuge,
a tower of strength against the enemy.
4I would like to be a guest in Your tent forever
and to take refuge under the protection of Your wings.
Selah ~Psalm 61:2-4 (GW)
18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.~2 Corinthians 3:18 (NKJV)
My thoughts:
The Lord tends to push us, to challenge us, to make us better and bring us closer to Him, by doing that it does take us out of our comfort zones. Us being human it is so hard to step out of that zone but we all know that the rewards are so worth it! Even if we fail, God knows that we at least tried and He will give us every opportunity to keep trying, keep reaching for Him!
So.. a friend of mine was/is doing a daily devotional called Jesus Calling by Sarah Young. I decided to head on over iTunes and see what they had since I had a gift card for iTunes. They had it so I got it. I really like it. The one I got is more like an app than the audible book but I still like it. I am sharing them with everyone because each day is such a wonderful reminder of His love for us!!!

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. - Ephesians 4:29
