Re Christmas and your little girl, try to always buy the decorations that focus on the nativity scene or the words of Christmas...I got joy peace and noel last year and used them as a focus of a design. I have the odd Santa but try to avoid them and focus on the nativity decorations. This may be a way that will work in your home.
