Why can't we trust God more?

 You know it is so easy to say that God will take care of everything but even when most of us say it we don't truly believe it.  It is so hard to let go of that control and to know that God does have control, He will provide for us and take care of us when we need it.  Be it financially, medically or any other way..

Why can't we stop wanting something we don't have.  I should be so thankful that I have a wonderful house, one that the roof doesn't leak on, is nice and warm.  Instead I have to keep wanting more closet space, see I should be thankful for all the junk we have, or I want to redo the cabinets in the kitchen but I should be thankful we have a kitchen and food to prepare in that kitchen.  It is so hard for us to not be so greedy to stop wanting what others have and to be happy with what we have.  God does provide for us and we should be thankful for what He has given us!  We should learn to trust God more and know that He will provide for us no matter what happens.

Prayer  (got from Girlfriends in God )
Father, I can be so greedy! Please forgive me when I live as though You cannot provide my every need. Help me to walk by faith, knowing that You love me fiercely and will take care of me fully. You are my Father, my God ... my Provider! Thank You!
