I hope you keep P.U.S.Hing!

 037

You know it's been awful here in OK, (and many other states) Monday overnight we got 10 inches of snow!  Then on Friday it snowed another 2 inches on top of that.  Most of the state was shut down on Tuesday and Wednesday advising everyone to stay home. Shane went to work for a bit on Wednesday, a little longer on Thursday and then Friday he went all day. Well  I hadn't heard from Shane all day on Friday and was kinda worried.  I pray for him everyday he leaves for work but this week I really prayed and wanted him home safe.

He was on I-35 and he said that it was dry, then it turned to wet, he kicked off his cruise control so he could get ready incase it got worse and then it did.  It went to ice!

In front of him was some cars and a semi, behind him another semi and some cars.. the cars in front started losing control and the semi tried to stop but jack knifed.  Shane tried to put on his brakes but they just weren't getting any traction on that ice.  He saw the semi behind him starting to jack knife and then he had to decide what to do.  He went for the ditch because that was better than being a semi sandwich, tried to hit the rumble strip to get more traction.  The back part of the van was in the ditch and the front was on the road.. he made it through that and then the cars that started the wreck were still up front.  He had to maneuver through them too!

He said everything slowed down, like in the movies.  I told him that was God slowing it down so he could figure out what to do!  He said," yeah I guess.  That's proof I do have a guardian angel, but I know it's not Randy because he couldn't drive in this stuff!"  Smile I just told him again that I pray for him everyday he leaves for work, that God will bring him home safe and Friday He did just that!

That got him thinking... so I am hoping that God is continuing to show Shane the wonderful things that only He can do!   That to me is God's work!

I just love it when you keep P.U.S.Hing, you know, Praying Until Something Happens!?!

Psalm 4:1
Answer me when I call to you, O my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; be merciful to me and hear my prayer.

John 14:13-14
I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask Me for anything in My name, and I will do it

1 John 5:14-15
"This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us - whatever we ask - we know that we have what we asked of Him"

Philippians 4:6-7
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus"

Rules from God for 2010

Another great email I just wanted to share....

Rules from God for 2010
1. Wake Up !...Decide to have a good day.
"Today is the day the Lord hath made; let us rejoice and be glad in it" Psalms 118:24

2. Dress Up !! ...The best way to dress up is to put on a smile.
A smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.
"The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at outward appearance; but the Lord looks at the heart."
I Samuel 16:7

3 . Shut Up!!...Say nice things and learn to listen..
God gave us two ears and one mouth, so He must have meant for us to do twice as much listening as talking. "He who guards his lips guards his soul." Proverbs 13:3

4. Stand Up!!..... For what you believe in.
Stand for something or you will fall for anything.. "Let us not be weary in doing good; for at the proper time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as w e have opportunity, let us do good..." Galatians 6:9-10

5. Look Up !!... To the Lord.
"I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me."
Philippians 4:13

6. Reach Up !!... For something higher.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, And He will direct your path."
Proverbs 3:5-6

7. Lift Up !!....Your Prayers.
"Do not worry about anything;
Instead PRAY ABOUT EVERYTHING."
Philippians 4:6

God answers prayer.

Enough to receive it all.

You exceedingly and abundantly,
Above all you could ever hope for.

That you may walk in a
Financial overflow..

May you fall in love with Him
For the rest of your days
In the Name of Jesus .

Don't worry...

"Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done."
                                        Philippians 4:6-7

Isn't it amazing how once you can finally do this that you will see how much He is really working.  It is just so amazing that once you finally just give it over to Him, pray about everything, that He will take control.
Unfortunately it took a death of a friend, that was like family, for me to do that.  I didn't know what else to do, there was so much going on after his death, locating family and stuff like that.  I ended up just crying out to God, telling Him that I give it all to you, take it!  I just don't know what else to do other than to give it all to you and to help me have some peace.
It is so amazing to see how many things just start to click together.  Cracks me up and after each click God deserves a big Hallelujah, Thank you Jesus!!!!

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you and help you;  I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.  For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. –Isaiah 41:10, 13

Prayers do get answered...

We have been having to deal with a lot of stuff lately and I have just been trying to pray about it and leave it all in God's hands.  It is still so unbelievable about Randy but we are dealing with it.  I have prayed for peace about the situation and for the most part I have gotten it, prayed for help finding a family member and we did with God's help and some friends help.  It is amazing how things can fall into place when everything else seems to be falling apart..  This long ordeal is not over but at least it finally looks like we will be able to get some closure and be able to have a memorial and burial for Randy.  So happy about that.  He deserves that much!!

"In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express" (Romans 8:26).

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7).

"Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus" (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).
