Thankful for the weak days..

So I've had this before in one of my posts but I just love it!  I used to look at being weak, lost, unsure, however you want to say it as just almost giving up, going into that cave and hiding away but here lately it is so different.  I finally realized that when I am weak, I am always turning to God for comfort.  Always asking the Lord to help me out, help me see things His way, to not lose my faith but to make it stronger and to give me that peace I need.  I love these verses because it goes to show that when you are weak you are really strong.  I love how much we lean on the Lord when we are weak and I am sure He loves it too!!  Being weak makes us seek Him out more and more so to me that is a good thing! and as the verse below says....
^"What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?" Romans 8:31

How can that be a bad thing!?!!  When others are bashing you, making you doubt your own faith, your own self we need to remember that God is always there and He is for us!

"Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."  2 Corinthians 12:8-10

OK God!

You know how bad I was falling apart Tuesday God?  I kept asking You and Bro. Tom for verses? Well I didn't do my normal Bible study Tuesday but was trying to look in the index for stuff on grief, death, whatever... nothing was helping.
Hmm.. maybe I should have done my study for Tuesday 'cause guess what!?! It gave me what I needed.... Ok this will be long but this is from Tuesday and Wednesday's Bible study from my Mom's Devotional Bible.

Trials and Temptations

The God of All Comfort

Man these might have come in handy yesterday but with all I was going through at the time too I just might not have seen it or understand it. Today when I was reading it, the first one, I was laughing, saying, "Alright God, I got it!!" See I think those are the times when I usually ask Him to reach down and smack me to show me something, that He does! Then I have to laugh and say alright, alright, I get it!! Thank You!!!! Pin It
